Some of you want to limit your staff from creating folders in a document library. The concerns is that people may create new folders without realizing that one already exists. This can be accomplished from the Document Library> Library Settings> Advanced Setting. You can turn off the command to create “new folder”. The downside to enabling this is that no one will be able to create new folders, including you.
