1. Submit an eBlast request (for date approval)

Submit a request through the eBlast Request Form found on the digital banter homepage. Please review eBlast Calendar for available dates.


Requirements:

  • Preferred send date (must be submitted at least 15 business before desired send date)
  • Subject line - Placeholder can describe the email
  • Email Address (sent from, reply to, notify failure)
  • Recipients - Define who you want to receive the email
  • Business Rational - Why do we need an email? 


Requests are reviewed weekly. You can submit eBlast requests a year in advance.


If the request is urgent (does not meet the timeline):

Urgent requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.


2. Submit an eBlast creation request (for email creation) once the date is approved

Once a date for your eBlast has been approved submit an eBlast Creation Request. Do not submit without a date (must be in the eBlast calendar or confirmed via email).


A draft will be sent for approval before the approved send date.


Requirements:

  • Submit at least 10 business days before desired send date - if the content isn't ready, let digital know
  • A CTA (call to action) - What do you want the recipient to do?
  • Content - short and to the point

Should also include:

  • Subject line
  • Image
    • Large or high resolution
    • Does not contain text

Where can I view the schedule/calendar?

Requests approved and submitted through the eBlast request form will appear in the eBlast Calendar.


I have more than one email planned, do I have to wait for the minmium 15 business day to submit my request for date approval?

You can submit all your known requests for the fiscal year. For changes you will need contact the mentioned above.


How many reminder emails can I request?

If emails are one-off (regional events, surveys, etc), we can consider up to 3 emails within a two month time frame. If they are over 2 months (email launch in March, event is in July), we can consider a monthly reminder until the event/deadline date.

Week 1: One initial (launch)

Week 3/4~: One reminder 

Week 4/5~: One final reminder (depending on if KPI/responds have been met)

Please know that these are not guaranteed and depends on available dates/schedules of other emails on the eBlast Calendar.


Where can I get the eBlast Analytics (open rate, click-rate, etc.)?

Email analytics will be added to your eBlast creation request ticket 1 - 2 weeks after deployment.
